Aircon On-Site Inspection in Singapore

Most aircon faults share symptoms but have different causes. An on-site inspection narrows it down so you know exactly what you are dealing with before spending on repairs.

What Is an On-Site Inspection

A $30 diagnostic home visit covering the areas that account for most residential aircon faults in Singapore. The technician tests the unit systematically — airflow, drainage, electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant — to isolate the root cause. The fee is waived if you proceed with the quoted repair.

What We Investigate

We check whichever areas are relevant to the symptoms until the root cause is isolated.

  • Airflow

Filter condition, coil obstruction, blower output, and duct integrity.

  • Drainage

Condensate flow, drain pan condition, slope and discharge path.

  • Electrical

Wiring integrity, capacitor health, PCB response, and breaker load.

  • Mechanical

Fan motor operation, bearing condition, vibration, and compressor function.

  • Refrigerant

Pressure readings, leak indicators, and charge level.

How It Works

From booking to diagnosis to decision — no surprises.

  1. 01

    Describe your situation

Tell us what you are noticing — symptoms, unit brand and model if known, and any relevant history. This lets the technician prepare the right tools.

  2. 02

    We pinpoint the fault

We work through the relevant areas systematically until the root cause is isolated — not just the symptom.

  3. 03

We walk you through the findings

A plain-language explanation of what failed, what caused it, and what the options are. No jargon, no pressure.

  4. 04

    You decide what happens next

If the repair is straightforward and parts are on hand, work can begin the same visit. Otherwise we schedule a return. Nothing starts without your approval.

What You Get From an Inspection

The visit ends with clarity — not more guesswork.

  • Root cause isolated

Not just the symptom, but what failed and why.

  • Plain-language explanation

The technician walks you through the findings so you understand what you are dealing with.

  • Written quote if work is needed

Itemised parts and labour before you decide.

  • No commitment

Approve the quote, take time to think, or decline. The $30 covers the visit regardless.

When to Book an Inspection

Book when you need facts before making a decision — not when you just need a clean.

  • Aircon not cooling and you are not sure why

Could be low gas, a failing compressor, a blocked coil, or something electrical. An inspection isolates the root cause.

  • Same problem keeps coming back

You have had the unit serviced or repaired but the issue returns. That usually means the underlying cause was not addressed.

  • You want a second opinion on a repair quote

Another company recommended work but the diagnosis or price does not sit right.

  • Deciding between repair and replacement

For ageing units, the right call depends on what is actually failing. An inspection gives you the facts.

When an Inspection Is Not the Right Call

An inspection diagnoses faults. If your situation fits one of these, a different service is the better starting point.

  • Unit is cooling normally and just due for a clean

    Book a general servicing instead.

  • You already know what is wrong and want it fixed

Skip straight to the relevant repair page.

  • Moving into a new property and need a condition report

    A pre-move-in inspection covers this.

  • Commercial VRV or VRF system

Multi-zone commercial setups require separate scoping due to scale and access.
