New or Recon Aircon Installation in Singapore

New unit or replacement — we size it to the room, run the pipes correctly, and test everything before leaving. No shortcuts on pipework or drainage slope.

How we handle every installation

  • Sizing first if you have not bought yet

We assess the room load before recommending a capacity. The right size saves running costs and avoids the complaints that come from an under or oversized unit.

  • No shortcuts on pipework

Drainage slope, insulation, and vacuum testing are not optional. They are the steps that determine whether the system works properly a year after installation.

  • Full test before we leave

We do not sign off until cooling, airflow, and drainage are confirmed working. The handover walkthrough covers what you need to know about operation and first servicing.

When installation is the right starting point

Use this page when the job starts with a system decision, not a fault. These are the most common triggers.

  • New room or property that needs aircon added
  • Replacing an aging unit that is no longer worth repairing
  • Planning a multi-split, cassette, or concealed ducted system
  • Re-installing after renovation with new pipe runs
  • Upgrading from window units to split system
  • Sizing advice before buying a unit

How an installation goes

A well-planned installation avoids the problems that cause callbacks — wrong sizing, poor drainage, leaking pipes, and noise from loose brackets.

  1. 1. Site check and sizing

Before any purchase, we assess the room size, heat load, pipe run options, drainage discharge point, and electrical supply. Getting the capacity right matters — an undersized unit will never reach the set temperature.

  2. 2. Agree scope and routing

We confirm the mounting position, pipe route, trunking finish, and drainage discharge before work starts. Any site complications — long pipe runs, ceiling cassette access, or electrical upgrades — are identified here.

  3. 3. Install pipework and drainage

Copper pipes are run at the correct sizing for the unit capacity, insulated, and sleeved through trunking. Drainage is sloped at minimum 1:50 gradient to the discharge point. These are the steps that most callbacks come from when cut short.

  4. 4. Mount and connect units

Indoor and outdoor units are mounted, the refrigerant circuit is connected and leak-tested, and the system is vacuumed before startup. The electrical isolator is fitted where required.

  5. 5. Full test before handover

The system is run at the set temperature and checked for correct cooling, airflow, and drainage. Remote settings are configured and the handover walkthrough covers basic operation and first servicing timing.

Installation pricing

Installation is quoted per job after a site survey. The survey fee covers the trip and assessment.

  • Site survey — $30/visit
  • Installation quoted after survey based on unit count, pipe run, and site conditions
  • Survey fee is separate from the installation quote

Booking and visit timing

Installation is scheduled after the site survey. Timeline depends on unit type, pipe run complexity, and whether electrical work is needed.

  • Standard single-split wall-mounted installation typically takes half a day
  • Multi-split, cassette, or ducted installations may take a full day
  • Site survey is a separate visit before the installation date
  • We confirm the installation date and expected duration after the survey

What we install

We install new and reconditioned split systems across all major brands. If you have already bought a unit, we install it. If you have not bought yet, we advise on sizing first.

  • Wall-mounted split systems — single and multi-split
  • Ceiling cassette units
  • Concealed ducted systems
  • New and reconditioned units
  • Replacement installations on existing pipe runs

What causes post-install problems

Most installation callbacks come from the same shortcut areas. This is why installation quality matters more than getting the cheapest first quote.

  • Wrong unit capacity for the room load
  • Poor drainage slope or incorrect discharge planning
  • Pipes not vacuumed or leak-tested
  • Old piping reused without proper assessment
  • Loose trunking causing vibration and noise
  • No proper handover test before leaving

What affects installation complexity

Every installation is different. Site conditions, system type, and routing all affect scope and timeline. These are the factors that change how straightforward a job is.

  • Pipe run length — longer runs need larger copper sizing
  • Whether existing pipes can be reused safely
  • Cassette and ducted ceiling access requirements
  • Drainage discharge constraints and slope planning
  • Condo ledge or HDB aircon ledge access
  • Electrical isolator, dedicated circuit, or breaker upgrades

What affects the installation quote

Installation cost depends on more than the unit price. Site conditions, pipe run length, system type, and electrical requirements all affect the scope and total cost.

  • Number of indoor and outdoor units
  • Pipe run length and routing complexity
  • Trunking type and finish required
  • Whether existing pipework can be safely reused
  • Electrical isolator or dedicated circuit required
  • Access conditions and property type
