Had a great experience with Snowflake Services for my aircon installation. Tony was super experienced and really took the time to explain options clearly without pushing any unnecessary upgrades.

New unit or replacement — we size it to the room, run the pipes correctly, and test everything before leaving. No shortcuts on pipework or drainage slope.
Sizing first if you have not bought yet
We assess the room load before recommending a capacity. The right size saves running costs and avoids the complaints that come from an under or oversized unit.
No shortcuts on pipework
Drainage slope, insulation, and vacuum testing are not optional. They are the steps that determine whether the system works properly a year after installation.
Full test before we leave
We do not sign off until cooling, airflow, and drainage are confirmed working. The handover walkthrough covers what you need to know about operation and first servicing.
Use this page when the job starts with a system decision, not a fault. These are the most common triggers.
A well-planned installation avoids the problems that cause callbacks — wrong sizing, poor drainage, leaking pipes, and noise from loose brackets.
Before any purchase, we assess the room size, heat load, pipe run options, drainage discharge point, and electrical supply. Getting the capacity right matters — an undersized unit will never reach the set temperature.
We confirm the mounting position, pipe route, trunking finish, and drainage discharge before work starts. Any site complications — long pipe runs, ceiling cassette access, or electrical upgrades — are identified here.
Copper pipes are run at the correct sizing for the unit capacity, insulated, and sleeved through trunking. Drainage is sloped at minimum 1:50 gradient to the discharge point. These are the steps that most callbacks come from when cut short.
Indoor and outdoor units are mounted, the refrigerant circuit is connected and leak-tested, and the system is vacuumed before startup. The electrical isolator is fitted where required.
The system is run at the set temperature and checked for correct cooling, airflow, and drainage. Remote settings are configured and the handover walkthrough covers basic operation and first servicing timing.
Installation is quoted per job after a site survey. The survey fee covers the trip and assessment.
Installation is scheduled after the site survey. Timeline depends on unit type, pipe run complexity, and whether electrical work is needed.
We install new and reconditioned split systems across all major brands. If you have already bought a unit, we install it. If you have not bought yet, we advise on sizing first.
Most installation callbacks come from the same shortcut areas. This is why installation quality matters more than getting the cheapest first quote.
Every installation is different. Site conditions, system type, and routing all affect scope and timeline. These are the factors that change how straightforward a job is.
Installation cost depends on more than the unit price. Site conditions, pipe run length, system type, and electrical requirements all affect the scope and total cost.
