Ad-Hoc Aircon Work in Singapore

One-off work that falls outside regular servicing or repair. Piping, relocation, removal, electrical jobs — each is scoped and quoted after we understand the site.

Piping

Aircon piping connects the indoor and outdoor units. Work is needed when installing new systems, extending or rerouting existing lines, or replacing damaged or corroded pipes.

  • New piping runs for installations or relocations
  • Pipe extensions when moving an indoor or outdoor unit
  • Replacement of corroded, leaking, or insulation-damaged pipes
  • Trunking and concealment where required
  • Pipe reuse assessment — we check condition before recommending new or reused
  • Quoted per job after site survey

Relocation or Removal

Moving an aircon unit to a different position, or removing one entirely. Each involves disconnection, refrigerant recovery, and either reinstallation or disposal.

Relocation

Moving an indoor or outdoor unit to a new position. Includes disconnection, refrigerant recovery, repositioning, reconnection, piping adjustment, and testing. Scope depends on distance, wall type, and piping route.

Removal and disposal

Full disconnection and removal of the system. Refrigerant is recovered safely, units are dismounted, and pipes are capped or removed. We handle disposal if needed.

Electrical Work

Aircon-side electrical work — dedicated circuits, isolator switches, cable upgrades, and wiring corrections. This covers the electrical supply to the aircon system, not whole-house rewiring.

  • Dedicated circuit installation for new or relocated units
  • Isolator switch installation or replacement
  • Cable upgrades when upsizing the system
  • Wiring fault diagnosis and repair
  • We do not cover whole-house electrical work — only aircon-related circuits
  • Quoted per job after assessment

What Affects the Quote

Every ad-hoc job is different. The quote depends on site conditions, not a fixed menu. Here is what typically affects scope and cost.

  • Distance between indoor and outdoor units
  • Wall type and construction (concrete, partition, brick)
  • Pipe routing complexity (bends, concealment, trunking)
  • Whether existing piping can be reused
  • Access constraints (high floors, tight spaces, scaffolding)
  • Electrical capacity of the existing circuit
